Forest City Ratner Companies will work to ensure that women and minorities are well represented in both the awarding of contracts and the construction workforce. The community will also gain 1,000 new units of mixed-income housing and tens of millions in new tax revenues, which can be used to improve local schools or meet other pressing needs.
